Collaborative writing comes into play more often than people realize. Often collaborative writing is required in business or school. Sometimes groups of like-minded individuals gather to work on a project together. Collaborative writing projects might include political pieces, editorials, marketing materials, or fictional novels and memoirs. Consider inviting a Writing coach to help your group of writers learn how to function as a team and how to appropriately critique each other's work and provide mutually beneficial feedback.
